Fransız sokak sanatçısı JR ve yönetmen Darren Aronofsky, ortak projeleri olan “The Standing March” ile 29 ve 30 Kasım tarihlerinde Paris’te sessiz bir protesto gerçekleştirdiler.
Paris’te geçtiğimiz haftalarda yaşanan kan dondurucu saldırıdan sonra şehirde güvenlik önlemleri artırılmış, güvenlik sebebiyle protestolar ve eylemler yasaklanmıştı.
JR ve Aronofsky, İklim Zirvesi’ne karşı hazırladıkları projeyle 500’ün üzerinde insanın bir arada olduğu bir grubun görüntüsünü Assemblée Nationale binasının üzerine projeksiyonla yansıtarak, binanın tüm yüzeyini sessizce duran bir grup insanla donattı.
Binada projeksiyonla beliren insaların hedefi İklim Zirvesi katılımcısı liderler; sessiz ve hareketsiz duruşlarının aksine bakışları sert ve katılımcılara dünyanın gözü üzerinizde mesajını vermeye çalışıyorlar.

The Standing March, a major public artwork to be exhibited in Paris during the UN’s COP 21 climate conference. The video projection will remind leaders that the world is watching as they gather to negotiate a deal aimed at keeping global warming below 2°C. It is right now being projected on the Assemblée Nationale until 4am and tomorrow Monday night from 8pm until 2 am.For security reasons, marches are forbidden in Paris. But our art piece is a silent march. And we are marching, backed by the Assemblée Nationale, the heart of the French democracy.
